The National Society of Petroleum of Congo (SNPC) is a company under Congolese public law created by Law 001-98 of April 23, 1998.
It is a public industrial and commercial establishment with legal personality and financial autonomy. Its capital is 81,334,654,844 CFA francs.
The SNPC Group has five proactive subsidiaries (SONAREP, ILOGS, SFP, CORAF, SNPC D) and holdings in several research and production permits throughout the petroleum industry chain as well as a corporate foundation.
The group (holding company and subsidiaries) has more than 1053 agents, and its role is to research, exploit, develop and distribute hydrocarbons in the Congo.
The SNPC performs this mission alone or in partnership with numerous international companies based in the Congo, while stimulating south-south cooperation in this sector.
The SNPC’s ambition is to establish high-potential national expertise in the petroleum industry, through a growth strategy. The SNPC manages an ambitious portfolio of assets operated and not operated in offshore and onshore.
