BIOGRAPHY

Kwabena Aforo-Addo, an Oil and Gas executive with over 16 years of international business experience in Blue Chip Multinationals across Africa, Europe, Asia Pacific and the USA, is the Managing Director of Connexus Energy, an indigenous Oilfeld Services and Energy Infrastructure company in Ghana.

Previously the Country Leader, Ghana and Sales Director, West Africa for Baker Hughes, A GE Company, he had oversight and management of an 80 strong team, supporting and delivering to customers across the country and West Africa. Kwabena also led sales of BHGE’s portfolio in the Oil & Gas equipment and services space. Notably, he co-led the strategy and execution to win the biggest deal for GE O&G in SSA outside Angola and Nigeria worth over $850M USD.

Prior to GE, Kwabena was with Shell for 7 years in Sales, Marketing and Operations roles in different Shell business units in Australia and Asia Pacific where he grew the business and implemented projects to improve market share and profitability. He received his MBA from the London Business School. Kwabena is a Director of the Ghana Oil Club, a non-profit organisation dedicated to developing professional networks and education among the Oil and Gas Sector and is a recent past board member of the American Chamber of Commerce – Ghana Branch.
Kwabena is married with one child and resides in Accra, Ghana.
