Dr. Baah-Nuakoh is the General Manager, Sustainability and Stakeholder Relations at the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC). Responsible for the Social Performance, Local Content and Corporate Affairs functions of GNPC, he has also served as Executive Director and Board Member of the GNPC Foundation, GNPC’s Corporate Social Investment arm.

Before joining GNPC, he was Senior Vice-President and Head of Marketing, Research and Corporate Affairs at The Royal Bank Ltd. With extensive experience in Economics, Banking, Sports Management and Media, he consulted for the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC, Ghana) and the African Centre for Economic Growth (ACEG).

He has over thirteen years teaching experience at the University of Ghana.

He is a Harvard Alumnus and holds a PhD from the University of Stirling, UK and an MPhil and Bachelor’s degrees in Economics from the University of Ghana. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Gh.) and the Institute of Public Relations (IPR – Ghana).
